Meet Dr. Gary Bretow

Dr. Bretow grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Rutgers University in 1978 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Life Chiropractic College in 1981. In December of 1981 he was elected to PI Tau Delta, the International Chiropractic Honor Society.
 
Dr. Bretow opened and managed two successful Chiropractic Clinics in Seattle, Washington before relocating to San Diego in 1986. In San Diego he opened and practiced at Renaissance Chiropractic Center for 11 years then opened Bretow Chiropractic Center where he is currently practicing.
 
Dr. Bretow has spent the last 30+ years in private practice and has devoted much time to educating the public about health and Chiropractic. He has presented hundreds of workshops, seminars and classes to many businesses, corporations, hospitals and civic organizations in Seattle and San Diego. Dr. Bretow offers patient and community education workshops and is available to speak to organizations and companies regarding health, safety, exercise and nutrition.  He has also worked with many athletes, including stints as the team chiropractor for Santa Fe Christian football team as well as the San Francisco Giants professional baseball team.
 
Dr. Bretow has a passion for serving God using his ability as a Chiropractor to serve others. He recognizes that his discipline, prayer and commitment allows God to use him to see his patients' health restored.

Benji Dam, Chiropractic Asst./Office Manager

Benji has been an intricate part of Bretow Chiropractic Center since 1995. She is the office manager as well as Chiropractic assistant.  She loves serving people in the field of health and wellness and looks forward to greeting people at the front desk.

 

Linda Bretow, Wife to Dr. Gary and Chiropractic Assistant

Linda Bretow has been married to Dr. Gary for over 30 years.  They met in Seattle prior to starting a practice in San Diego. Linda works a few days a week assisting with front desk duties and general office work. She loves meeting patients and their families. She is excited to serve the needs of others.
